I Love Everyone, I Hate Everyone, 2005, original 54"x 56" oil on canvas.
Commentary by Glenn Emerson: Nothing epitomizes the "two-edged sword" of progress more than the computer. No modern invention has greater potential to enhance our productivity and "standard of living"; and no modern invention has greater potential for Orwellian subjugation of the human spirit. This conflict is precisely what Stettner has captured on his canvases.
Stettner's oil on cavas 54"x 56" "I Love Everyone, I Hate Everyone" shows the human struggle within the machine of existence.
