Heaven and Hell
Heaven and Hell, 1999, original 48"x 48" oil canvas. The current owner says she loves this original painting, which is a canvas painting, not a cave painting, but it is one he did in painting class. This very textured, painterly original oil painting is much like the texture Van Gough would have painted in. This original oil painting, much like the doctrines of heaven and hell, plays an important social function as well. The artist says it´s just a painting it doesn´t really have anything to do with heaven or hell, except in the daily context of every day life here on earth. This is a good example of why Stettner is classified as an abstract artist.
